Join PES on June 11 from 5–7 PM at 756 Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard, Newark, NJ, for a celebration of CITY OF CREATORS.
CITY OF CREATORS is a new public art initiative bringing art to more than 20 vacant storefronts across Downtown Newark, creating an immersive arts corridor featuring work by 25 local artists and organizations.
Through window-based installations, the initiative connects artists, small businesses, and neighborhood narratives, reframing vacant storefronts as spaces of visibility, creativity, and opportunity.
Partners include Invest Newark, the Newark Urban Enterprise Zone, the City of Newark Division of Arts and Cultural Affairs, the Newark Downtown District, Newark Alliance, the Newark Arts & Education District, and Project for Empty Space.
