Project for Empty Space is thrilled to present two new Artist In Residence exhibitions opening in Newark on Saturday, May 17, with a dual opening celebration from 4–7 PM.
At 800 Broad Street, When Civilizations Heal features new work by 2024–2025 Artist In Residence Helina Metaferia, while Ironside Newark (110 Edison Place) hosts The Ocean Doesn’t Recognize Tears, a solo exhibition by 2022 Artist in Residence Andrea Chung.
The two venues are a short walk apart, and visitors are invited to explore public artworks along the way through the Newark Grounds program. Maps are available at both locations and on Bloomberg Connects. Plan to spend the afternoon with us!
