Join us on August 5 from 3-5 PM at Ironside Newark for a drawing class hosted by Layqa Nuna Yawar!
About This Event
As part of PES Summer Studio at Ironside Newark, Project for Empty Space is hosting a series of free, artist-led workshops led by past and present Artists-in-Residence. These hands-on programs invite participants of all ages to explore new materials, develop creative skills, and engage with contemporary artistic practices.
Join artist Layqa Nuna Yawar for a new Drawing Circle, a three-hour event where you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow artists and develop your drawing skills in a supportive environment as we work from the nude figure. Whether you're a seasoned artist or starting out, everyone is welcome to participate. Some materials will be provided, but bring your sketchbook and pencils, drawing board, or anything else you might need.
